“My first year ended at Alisa Child care in Northridge, and I am re-signing my girl for another one. This is a pretty unique place. One the span of one my year, my shy girl, went from a guilt observer to an active participant. She asks questions, reads, recites child poetry in Russian, and does basic arithmetic. And she is 2 year old! The scale and scope of development acceleration imparted at Alisa is amazing. I want to focus at the bi- annual performances that the children put on for their parents. These are collections of plays, scenes, recitals and more. The public speaking which these under 5-year-old learn to do can delight any adult. I am not going to post any videos of my child, obviously, but believe me- Alisa Childcare is one- of-a-kind learning center in the Valley. Irina, the owner, is full pretty much year round, with occasional sports up for grabs. I vote with my feet, and I am signed on for next year.

“It is my absolute pleasure to write a review to Alisa Child Care and about the wonderful teachers Irena and Andrej. We have first meet in April of 2006 when I was looking to have my daughter in a Russian speaking environment.  After visiting several other locations I realized that Alisa Child Care is the place where I feel at home. The love and care that my now 2 kids feel are very special. My oldest daughter graduated Alisa Child Care Preschool program and went to the Kindergarten without any problems. She was able to write and read and was admitted in the advanced class. Since then not only she was the best student but also finished the year with straight “A”s. One of the most important habits that Alisa Child Care teacher Irena taught my daughter was the habit to study. Doing extra enriched homework was not a problem at all. My youngest daughter now can’t wait to go to “school” every day. And the home made meals are so delicious that I now have to make soups only like Ira’s. I would strongly recommend any parent to visit Alisa Child Care to see everything themselves.”

“My friend recommended me Alisa Child Care. I didn’t expect such improvement in my daughter’s reading skills, at age of 3 she can read and write in Russian and English only in one year. My child memorizes long poems without my help which is very important since I’m a working mom and have absolutely no time to participate in extra activities , teacher works with every child individually.I was astonished by a play that teacher of Alisa Child Care created on New Years Party,our kids were like a little movie stars. Every parent i’ve talked to is so happy with service , food and love they give to our kids. I wanted to say thank you for taking such a good care of my baby.” I recommend this daycare to everyone.

Owner is a very literate and kind person, she helped me with my kids so much. I have two daughters, one already graduated this preschool last year and I am very pleased with her writing and reading skills. She is the top student in kindergarden. My younger daughter (18 months old) goes there for almost a year and she already says a lot of words and recognizes all animals; Irina teaches her Russian and English alphabets also. Irina and Andrey are experienced teachers that truly care about our kids.”

“After searching for a quality daycare provider and coming across a few home based daycares it was a breath of air to find Alisa Child Care! I have found Irina to be a very qualified instructor who just happens to have one of the finest child care homes in Northridge, CA.  Kids do learn and graduate. Everything is age appropriate learning.  Irina is professional and sincerely cares for all of her families who attend.  Alisa child care is a second home for my child. Thanks to Irina my kids were accepted in the best school in the San Fernando Valley. Irina is so creative and is always prepared with some new activity for kids to try. The meal she provides is healthy and home made. We appreciate this child care very much!”

“Both of our children attended this outstanding school. Led by loving, caring and very knowledgeable staff, Alisa Child Care provides nurturing learning environment for young children with a variety of programs, including music and dance. Did I mention the delicious homemade meals? Our two children went through this wonderful child care and not only they were loved, fed, taken care of, but also they were well prepared for the rigorous gifted magnet programs. Alisa child care is one of the best programs!”

“So far it’s been 18 months since we bringing my child there. To make the story short at 2.5 years old my son knows alphabet and numbers till 100. My main purpose was to find The daycare where you’re not just going to bring your son and they’re going to tell you what you want  hear (just to make you happy) but to tell exactly how he behaves what did he do or didn’t do. I get complete report every time I pick him up. My wife is Hispanic so my son used to understand only Spanish now my wife has hard time understanding what he wants to say because he speaks Russian now lol. ( which that’s what I wanted ).  He picked up English there as well. I also like the fact that it’s very organized , food is always fresh, I haven’t seen kids fighting which means they are controlled by teachers. It’s like a family atmosphere there. You should see their gorgeous pomegranate and grape trees. Playground is secured and has cameras all around. Overall I’m very happy. Thank you.”

“Although this could be considered a Russian childcare and pre-school, the program and its delivery is unmatched by the most American based preschools. My child never spoke nor heard Russian before now she makes us learn the language as well… Math, English, vocabulary, drawings, music, theater, gymnastics, dancing and NO TV!  What a great find for me and hopefully a very strong start in this life for my daughters!  And 4 times-a-day home-cooking meals?  Better than at home sometimes!  I hope they’ll stay in business when I’ll have my grandkids!”

“This daycare is absolutely amazing! I was helping my cousin find a daycare for my little niece and I’m so happy we found Alisa’s Child Care. Everyone here is so nice, so friendly and I love how safe it is. The daycare is also set up in a way to help the child learn and ultimately prepare them for school, which is a HUGE plus. I highly recommend it.”
